Alcohol-Free Coaching

What If Alcohol Was Holding You Back — And You Didn’t Even Know It?

You don’t have to hit rock bottom to question your relationship with alcohol. In fact, most of the women I work with would never describe themselves as having a ‘problem.’ They’re high-functioning, capable, and successful — and yet, somewhere along the way, the nightly glass of wine became two, the weekend drink became a daily habit, and not drinking started to feel oddly uncomfortable.

If any of that sounds familiar, you’re in exactly the right place.

This Isn’t About Labels

Alcohol-free coaching isn’t about telling you that you’re an alcoholic, or that you need to ‘quit forever,’ or that there’s something fundamentally wrong with you.

It’s about asking a far more empowering question:

What would your life look and feel like without alcohol in it?

For many women, the answer is transformative. Better sleep. Clearer thinking. More energy. Less anxiety. Greater confidence. A deeper sense of who they really are — without the numbing, the fog, or the next-day regret.

Why Women Drink — And Why It’s Not Your Fault

We live in a world that has brilliantly marketed alcohol to women. Rosé for self-care. Prosecco for celebration. Wine to ‘survive’ the school run, the long week, the difficult relationship.

We’re told it helps us relax, connect, and cope. And in the short term, it can feel like it does.

But here’s the science: alcohol is a depressant. It disrupts sleep, amplifies anxiety, depletes serotonin and dopamine — the very chemicals our brains need to feel good. So, while that first glass may feel like relief, over time it quietly erodes the very resilience, confidence, and joy you’re trying to protect.

That’s not weakness. That’s neuroscience.

What Alcohol-Free Coaching Looks Like

As a Certified Alcohol-Free Performance Coach, I combine evidence-based coaching with the principles of Positive Psychology to help you:

This is not white-knuckling it. It’s not willpower and white-knuckling. It’s a complete and compassionate shift in how you see yourself and alcohol — using science, coaching, and your own remarkable strengths.

“But I Don’t Drink That Much…”

You don’t have to be drinking a bottle a night to benefit from this work.

Many of my clients are simply alcohol-free-curious — they’ve noticed that drinking is costing them more than it’s giving them. Their sleep isn’t great. Their anxiety is higher than they’d like. They feel a little foggy, a little flat, and they wonder whether alcohol might be part of the picture.

Others are further along — they’ve tried Dry January, they’ve had a few ‘I need to cut back’ conversations with themselves, and they’re ready for something that actually sticks.

Wherever you are on that spectrum, coaching can help.

The Benefits Are Bigger Than You Think

Women who go alcohol-free — even for a period — typically report:

  • 💤Dramatically improved sleep quality
  • 🧠Sharper focus and mental clarity
  • 😌Reduced anxiety and low mood
  • Better skin, energy, and physical health
  • 💪Greater confidence and self-trust
  • ❤️Deeper, more authentic connections with the people they love
  • 🌱A genuine sense of pride and possibility

And perhaps most powerfully of all — a feeling of being back in the driving seat of their own life.

My Approach

I bring warmth, honesty, and a complete absence of judgement to this work. I’ve navigated my own life challenges — redundancy, relocation, divorce, a breast cancer diagnosis — and I know first-hand how easy it is to reach for something that offers a little short-term comfort.

I also know that lasting change doesn’t come from restriction or willpower. It comes from understanding, from reconnecting with what truly matters to you, and from building a life that feels genuinely worth showing up for — fully, clearly, and completely yourself.

The most courageous thing you can do is be honest with yourself about what is and isn’t working — and then do something about it.
